Sri Lankan leader to visit China

At the invitation of Premier Li Keqiang, Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is set to pay an official visit to China from today till Saturday, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sri Lanka is seeking to further cement its relations with China in the year ahead, Xinhua News Agency reported. Last month, the Sri Lankan government informed Chinese investors about the resumption of the construction of a multi-billion-dollar Port City project in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo, one year after its suspension.
