Dave Roberts took a moment to soak up the atmosphere before his first game as manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Then it was time to play ball.
The Dodgers did that quite well on Monday, getting a brilliant seven innings from Clayton Kershaw in a record-setting 15-0 victory against the San Diego Padres.
When it was over, reliever Yimi Garcia handed Roberts the game ball and Yasiel Puig and Adrian Gonzalez led a celebratory water and Gatorade bath.
