Society: Wedding trip with 56 traditional costumes

Millennials Ji Yuting and her husband He Tao met and fell in love during a hiking trip in the Tibet autonomous region. The couple married in August and they quit their jobs in Southwest China's Chongqing. On Sept 25, they set off on a 365-day tour around the country for a "really special wedding", during which they plan to don the traditional costumes of all the 56 ethnic groups of China. Their wedding "marathon" includes hitchhiking and walking. They have so far taken photos wearing at least 19 ethnic costumes, including those from the Mongolian, Hezhe, Bonan, Ewenki and Oroqen groups. The duo have also set up a public WeChat social networking account to share their experiences. Visit our website to learn more about their ongoing journey.
