Event highlights water conservation

Participants learn they can easily save as much as 30 liters of water per day

A leading organization responsible for environmental publicity, education and training, and a Japanese chemical and cosmetics company have jointly held three days of activities in Beijing to promote water conservation, to mark the 24th World Water Day on March 24.

The Center for Environmental Education and Communications and Kao Holding Co Ltd set up displays in the capital's Changying Tianjie shopping mall, to show how even average households can save as much as 30 liters of water daily, or 10,000 liters a year.
