Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts established its first property in mainland China on the shore of Hangzhou's beautiful West Lake more than three decades ago.

Now the Hong Kong-based group has returned with a new hotel inspired by both the cultural charms of the city's past and the vibrant lifestyle of its present.
