Gerrard dreams of Carragher reunion

Steven Gerrard dreams of a Liverpool reunion with fellow Anfield icon Jamie Carragher, but the LA Galaxy midfielder said he will look elsewhere if he doesn't get the chance to return to his former club.

Gerrard's contract with Major League Soccer club expires in eight months and the ex-Liverpool and England captain has thought a lot about teaming up with Carragher in some sort of coaching capacity with the Reds.

Having spent 16 years with Carragher on the Reds' first team after several years at the club's academy, Gerrard remains hopeful of reuniting with his close friend back at their spiritual home.
