Shanghai Composite hits highest level since Jan 15
Mainland stocks gained more than 2 percent on Monday, the seventh consecutive day's growth, which pushed the Shanghai Composite Index above 3,000 points, its highest since Jan 15.
Traders attributed the rise to China's State margin lender resuming its shorter-term lending business, and slashing borrowing costs.
