US president in historic visit to Cuba
US President Barack Obama is set to meet with Cuban leader Raul Castro today on the second day of his three-day visit to Cuba, becoming the first sitting US president to visit Havana in 88 years. In August, the US embassy in Cuba reopened and a US flag was raised at the compound on Havana harbor. High-level US officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, have since traveled to the island.
