New Suning online platform helps Sichuan citrus growers

Suning Commerce Group Co Ltd, the household appliances retailing giant, has co-launched an e-commerce platform to specifically help sell tons of citrus fruit, grown by villagers in Sichuan province.

The company is joining hands with the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation in a trial online sales push in time for this month's harvest.

One of the villages to benefit from the effort is Pingyang, near the city of Ya'an.
