Youngsters test their skills at Mission Hills

The World Ladies Championship in Dongguan, Guangdong province, provided seasoned pros with a gauge of their pre-Olympics form while giving potential stars an opportunity to shine during a junior clinic at the Mission Hills Golf Academy.

World Ladies Championship participants Nicole Garcia of South Africa, South Korean Jeong Hye-yoon and China's Li Zi entertained more than 20 children at the weekend clinic.

In addition to demonstrating how to strike a variety of different shots, the pros took part in a skills challenge that involved the youngsters, aged 6-16.
