Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane said he was happy his side advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals on Tuesday after being given a scare by Roma en route to a 2-0 win at Santiago Bernabeau that sealed a 4-0 aggregate victory.
Goals by Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez during a four-minute blitz in the second half secured the triumph.
However, Roma was left to rue a host of clear-cut chances to get back into the tie as Mohamed Salah missed two one-on-ones with Keylor Navas and Edin Dzeko sliced a glorious chance just wide.
