Nations pledge to continue search as observances are held on the second anniversary of the jetliner's vanishing

A moment of silence was observed by Malaysian lawmakers on Tuesday, as the country remained hopeful of finding Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 two years after its disappearance.

In a statement, an independent international Air Accident Investigation Team said despite the continuing search in the South Indian Ocean, where the aircraft presumably had ended its journey, the MH370 wreckage has yet to be found.
