Feb steel, aluminum shipments decline
Exports of unwrought aluminum and related products plunged 26 percent to 280,000 metric tons from the previous month, the smallest in two years, the latest customs data showed. Sales of steel products dropped 17 percent to 8.11 million tons, the lowest since March last year. The country's total exports fell 25.4 percent in dollar terms from a year earlier, the most since May 2009.
