Curry-less Warriors still win

By Associated Press In Oakland, California | China Daily | Updated: 2016-03-03 07:51

With Stephen Curry watching in street clothes with an ankle injury, Draymond Green hit an off-balance 3-pointer with 40.2 seconds remaining in overtime as the Golden State Warriors beat the Atlanta Hawks 109-105 on Tuesday.

Andrew Bogut saved the ball from going out of bounds, and then Green got the shot off just as the shot clock expired, avoiding Kent Bazemore's diving steal attempt.

"It's just a desperation heave," Green said. "It's just one of those things sometimes the ball just bounces your way and that one fell for me, unlike a lot of the other ones."
