Urumqi runners raise $1,900

Nearly 350 runners in Urumqi, the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, have raised 12,500 yuan ($1,900) for the local charity - the Xinjiang Foundation for Disabled Persons. The sponsors of the charity run donated 5 yuan for each kilometer the participants covered, which totaled 2,500 km. More than 30 runners from outside the autonomous region also ran the distance, and uploaded their data through a sports application.
