Some analysts blame market concerns over registration system for initial public offerings
Chinese mainland stocks tumbled on Monday, with the benchmark index heading toward the lowest level this year as investors rushed to dump shares on concerns of further volatilities.
The selling came without any apparent deterioration of the fundamentals of the Chinese economy, indicating that investors' risk preference remained low, analysts said.
