The FINA World Cup of Diving concluded in Rio de Janeiro last week, with Mexican divers winning one gold and one bronze and finishing third in the medal standings.

Behind those achievements stands easygoing coach Ma Jin, who is called "Chinese mother" by Mexican diving queen Paola Espinosa and has been awarded the Order of the Aztec Eagle, the country's highest honor for foreigners.
