DNA test confirms suspicions

A woman in Shaoxing got more than she bargained for after urging her son and his new wife to have a baby. After the child was born, the woman, surnamed Li, did not think her granddaughter looked like her son and demanded a DNA test. It confirmed her suspicion that the child was not his. The couple divorced late last year and Li's son received 20,000 yuan ($3,000) in compensation. More recently, Li's daughter also asked for a divorce after learning her husband fathered the baby girl.
