Three children who disappeared from a village in East China's Zhejiang province on Tuesday morning were still missing as of press time on Thursday, despite extensive rescue efforts.

Chen Xinyi, 12, her 7-year-old brother Chen Hanlin and an 8-year-old girl called Chen Minjie were last seen at around 11 am on Tuesday when they left their homes in Jianguang village, Pujiang county.

Although not verified by police, a report in Hangzhou-based newspaper City Express said the three children had been spotted three times in surveillance tapes on Tuesday afternoon, along with a woman wearing red.
