ATM caller gets police rebuke

A customer, whose card had been swallowed by an ATM and feared staff would not arrive quickly enough to retrieve it, rang his bank to tell them the machine was spewing out money. The incident occurred at an ATM near a bullet train station in Hefei. The bank's hotline operator contacted the police who rushed to the scene only to find the customer who admitted he could not retrieve his card. Bank staff did manage to get his card back but only after police issued the man with a stern rebuke.
