China Leads Global Ip Applications

Despite uncertain global economic prospects, the world's intellectual property activity continues to grow robustly, according to World Intellectual Property Indicators 2015, released at the end of last year. The annual report by the World Intellectual Property Organization shows the latest trends in the IP business worldwide.

China led the world in 2014 in the numbers of patent, trademark and design applications, the report says.
