Seoul talks agenda likely to feature Washington missiles issue

The deployment of a powerful US missile system in the Republic of Korea is among issues that are expected to feature in discussions between diplomats from China and the ROK in Seoul on Tuesday.

The dialogue comes after the announcement that Seoul is allowing Washington to deploy the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system to the US military base in the ROK.

Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Zhang Yesui will attend the discussions with ROK First Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Lim Sung-nam.
