When Beijing hosted the 2008 Summer Olympics, it was thought to be a once-in-a-lifetime achievement. But since last July, when China's capital was awarded the 2022 Winter Olympics, becoming the first city to host both a Summer and Winter Games, global sport is again playing a big role in the national consciousness. Here's to more of the same in the Year of the Monkey!
