Cold front moving across the country

A strong cold front is moving across China from west to east, bringing lower temperatures as well as rain and snow, the national weather observatory said on Wednesday. From the front's arrival on Wednesday until Saturday, the end of the weeklong Chinese Lunar New Year holiday, the cold air will bring snow and sleet to the Xinjiang Uygur and Ningxia Hui autonomous regions, Gansu and Shaanxi provinces in the northwest, the National Meteorological Center said.
