Automatic import license goes online

The automatic import license goes digital in all of China's customs offices on Monday, according to the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs. The license streamlines customs declaration and make trading more convenient, the Ministry of Commerce said. China started testing paperless automatic import licenses at 10 customs last August. More than 75,000 digital licenses were issued last year, accounting for 60 percent of all automatic import licenses.
