Govt doubles F-15s on Okinawa Island
Japan has doubled the number of F-15 fighter jets deployed on the island of Okinawa, the defense ministry said on Sunday. Japan's Air Self-Defense Force now has 40 F-15s on Okinawa's Naha base. "This is a front line of national defense," said Deputy Minister Kenji Wakamiya.
