Millions spread their wings on overseas travel
Increased leisure time and wealth will see more Chinese traveling abroad this year to destinations that include big cities, private islands and even Antarctica. They will travel for sightseeing, shopping, themed tours, medication, sports and cultural events. During Spring Festival, it is estimated that 6 million overseas visits will be made from Feb 8 to 14. The country's outbound tourism market has grown dramatically in recent years and the number of such travelers is expected to reach 133 million this year, a year-on-year increase of 11 percent. This market is presenting huge opportunities for companies with innovative solutions.
