88 frugality code violations reported

The discipline watchdog of the Communist Party of China has named officials for violations of the Party's anti-corruption and frugality code of conduct. A total of 88 cases were listed in a weekly report on the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. The cases included officials who held lavish weddings or funerals, used public funds for travel or dining, accepted improper gifts or gave improper benefits to subordinates.
