Acting governor nominated

The local legislature in Sichuan nominated Yin Li as acting governor of the province on Friday. He was vice-minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission before being nominated deputy chief of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and head of its publicity department in April 2015. The Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress accepted the resignation of former governor WeiHong, who was suspected of "severe disciplinary violations".
