Culture: Top porcelain expected to fetch more than $28m

One of the finest Chinese porcelain collections in history will be put up for auction, with an overall estimated price of more than 20 million pounds ($28.8 million). Auction house Sotheby's is selling about 100 objects acquired by late British collector Roger Pilkington in the 1950s and 1960s, according to the website of UK newspaper The Guardian. The collection includes a Chenghua blue and white "palace" bowl (pictured) from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Visit our website to read more about the artwork.
