Alisports takes the ball

The National Football League has signed a partnership deal with new Internet venture Alibaba Sports Group (Alisports) to stream NFL games throughout mainland China.

Alisports is wholly owned by Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba.

The deal marks the NFL's eighth online partnership in China with Alisports joining Sina, Tencent, PPTV, Le Sports, iQiYi, BesTV, and 1905.com in streaming games nationwide.
