Public views sought on draft

China's top legislature has released a revised draft charity law on its website to solicit public opinion. Members of the public can express their views or submit proposals until Jan 31. According to the latest version of the draft, China is considering setting up a "charity day" on Sept 5. The draft proposed offering greater tax deductions for charitable contributions made by enterprises. Feb 29, it said.
