Xi calls for reform to advance as key group holds talks

President Xi Jinping called on Monday for reforms to be advanced in all sectors as the Leading Group for Overall Reform convened its 20th meeting.

The meeting was also attended by Premier Li Keqiang, Liu Yunshan and Zhang Gaoli, members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and deputy heads of the group.

Xi, who heads the group, said a foundation should be built in the next three years to comprehensively deepen reforms, and the main framework for reform should be established this year.
