Central bank rolls out Monkey zodiac coins
Today, the People's Bank of China is expected to begin taking public orders for a commemorative coin featuring the Chinese zodiac sign of the monkey, to mark the 2016 Year of the Monkey under the traditional Chinese calendar. The central bank will issue about 500 million 10-yuan ($1.54) coins nationwide. The coin is set to be released on Jan 16.
