Join a choir to stave off dementia, says health watchdog Nice

Pensioners should join choirs and read to young children to avoid loneliness and dementia, health watchdogs have said.
New guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence says older people should be offered more activities to keep them healthy and happy.
It said councils should do more to offer group activities, such as "singing programmes, in particular, those involving a professionally led community choir".
