Major Shenzhen train station on track
The Futian Railway Station in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, is set to begin services today, according to the Guangzhou Railway (Group) Corp. The station, touted as Asia's largest underground railway station at 147,000 square meters, links provincial capital Guangzhou with Hong Kong. The fastest trains can travel between Guangzhou and Hong Kong in half an hour.
