PBOC's Pan to take top post at forex regulator

People's Bank of China Deputy Governor Pan Gongsheng will replace Yi Gang as head of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, while also maintaining his post at the central bank, according to Caixin magazine's website. Yi, who is also a deputy governor of the central bank, will remain in that post, according to a report on Tuesday. The PBOC and SAFE did not immediately reply to requests for comment.
