Youku names co-chairmen

Youku Tudou Inc, the leading Chinese online streaming video platform, has appointed WeiMing and Yang Weidong as co-chairmen with effect from Nov 30.Wei will be in charge of the overall business, membership and the portfolios of information and content. Yang will be responsible for the entertainment arm and operations. Wei will also serve as the head of Alibaba Group's digital entertainment business.
