Husband gets 27 years of care

A woman in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, was praised as the best wife ever for looking after her sick husband during the past 27 years. Zhou Guihua's husband was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a degenerative neurological condition also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, in 1988, when they had been married for just two years. Zhou has looked after him ever since and said she never thought of giving up.
