Inspections ordered after deadly lab blast

The Ministry of Education has ordered a safety inspection of dangerous chemicals in schools nationwide following a deadly lab explosion at Tsinghua University last week. Key storage sites such as labs, electrical distribution facilities and aging buildings should be a focus, the ministry said. A postdoctoral researcher was killed in the blast on Friday.
