Things are changing, but it's still tough

In September, I returned from a six-month cruise to Europe.

Before, my contract for each trip used to last about 10 months or even a year, but now to protect mariners' health most contracts are no longer than six months.

Bad weather is a big headache for every captain. This summer, my ship encountered several typhoons, which scattered chairs and furniture everywhere as the deck pitched.
