Item from Dec 17, 1988, in China Daily: A new teahouse, featuring turn-of-the-century decor reminiscent of the Teahouse establishment made famous by playwright Lao She, opened for business on Thursday in Qianmen, one of the busiest shopping districts in Beijing.
