Leaders of the six member states attending the 14th SCO meeting in Zhengzhou issued a joint statement on Tuesday supporting regional economic cooperation.

Members agreed to work together on industrial capacity, customs and environmental protection.

The six member states-China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan - reiterated their support for China's initiative to build the Silk Road Economic Belt.
