Police break online gun sales rings
The police have broken two criminal rings that had been selling guns online, authorities announced on Saturday. The police in Macheng caught 13 suspects whose network spanned 27 provinces and regions, seizing 127 guns, 20,000 bullets, 10,000 cartridge cases, 2 kilograms of explosives and a large number of gun-making components. Police in Qichun county caught five suspects and destroyed a gun-manufacturing den and seized seven high pressure air rifles and related items.
