Culture: Shanghai sees art in a cake

Inside the Cake, an installation by London food artist Tom Wolfe, has been on display at the K11 Art Mall in Shanghai since Friday. Wolfe planned to cover the interior of the transparent cube every day for about four days with diff-erent flavors of icing sugar, weighing 30 kilograms in total. Guests have been invited inside the installation to taste the sugar and create graffiti. It is the first time Inside the Cake has been exhibited in Asia.
