China-Japan maritime affairs consultation

China and Japan are set to hold the fourth round of a high-level consultation on maritime affairs in Xiamen, Fujian province, today and tomorrow. The event aims to provide a platform for communication and coordination for maritime affairs between the two countries. China expects to strengthen mutual understanding and trust with Japan on the issues, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
