Item from Dec 7, 1985, in China Daily: A museum worker brushes away soil from one of the dinosaur skeletons at Zigong, Sichuan province. A dinosaur museum, the first of its kind in China, is to open next February in Deshanpu, 11 kilometers northwest of Zigong.

The museum is located on top of a dinosaur fossil site where 180 skeletons, including up to 17 species, have been found. They are believed to be about 150 million years old, dating from the Jurassic Period.
