Imperial College seeks creativity and innovation
As a higher education institute specializing in medicine, science and engineering, Imperial College London pays great attention to creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, said Maggie Dallman, associate provost of the college in the United Kingdom.
Dallman said they have always looked for academically capable students who fulfill high entry criteria. But more importantly, "we are looking for people with creativity, imagination and with a real entrepreneurial spirit," she told China Daily during an interview in Beijing.
Students will also receive lots of assistance from the college to cultivate their creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship after they are enrolled, as these values have been embedded into the whole education process, both in curricular and extracurricular activities, Dallman said in September.
