Draft of emissionrules issued
The capital has issued a draft of new rules for exhaust emissions for public review, the municipal environmental watchdog said on Thursday. If approved, it will take effect on Dec 1, 2017, and reduce exhaust emissions by 20 to 30 percent by 2022, according to the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau. The public can offer their suggestions about the draft by Dec 25.
