Jose does math, and 3 into 2 doesn't go

By Agence France-Presse in Haifa, Israel | China Daily | Updated: 2015-11-26 07:56

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was in playful but confident mood following the team's 4-0 Champions League victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv that edged it closer to the knockout rounds.

The Portuguese manager began his post-match news conference by asking journalists for a calculator so he could figure out what Chelsea would have to do to qualify for the last 16.

After pausing and thinking about it, Mourinho said: "I know if we win, we finish first. If we lose we are going to the Europa League, and with a draw it's second place."
